Man, oh man!

Explain's my life right now. My family has been traveling a bit since we got a camper. We all love it, (though some think it's not REAL camping) I don't mind either way. So it was fun, we had our annual church camp out, and A LOT of people got to come. I FINALLY got to learn to drive a stick shift, which being a car guy, has been something I've wanted to do since I got my license.
After that our family went to Fredricksburg, some call it the "German capital of Texas". Call it what you wish, it was loads of fun walking around and seeing all kinds of places, and to enjoy God's creation.

Well I'm all over the place, school, work, and everything in between. I had my uncle's neighbor offer me some work painting. Which is great pay, but we work full time. So not ideal for the teen still in school. So I'll probably keep that to a minimum. I had to give my truck back because it was having HUGE problems, and I just couldn't afford it anymore. I'm currently saving for a new car/truck.
Our band... ah yes, we've all been super busy, and our drummer can hardly practice twice a week anymore, but nonetheless we are still 'technically' a band, and we hope to get some of our music out in the future. I've been trying newer songs, and different styles, also trying to get my voice where I want it, which isn't easy at all... So we're hoping to get somewhere in the near future.

Peter has been good, he's had a couple more surgeries since my last update. Please continue to pray for his full recovery.
I really enjoy thanksgiving, being around family, and talking about what the Lord has blessed us with. There are million's of things I'm EXTREMELY thankful for, but I won't try to mention them all right now. My top 3 would probably be...

1: The Lord Jesus Christ.

2: My Best Friend's and Family.

3: My gifts, and everything God has given me.

I hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving.

A big birthday shout out for Hannah, Happy Birthday!

Golden Year for Grandparents

Good day one and all! Yes my grandparents had their 50th anniversary just last week. So I'm going to tell you about it!

So our Aunt (the one from California) came down to Texas for a surprise to our dear grandparents. It was great, she got to our house we were planning everything out, who would do what and everything.
She stayed in the car and made the daily "I'm heading home from work" call to our grandmother, and we took our stations. I went to the kitchen to record the whole thing on camera, and Colton was to go get our Aunt. He made the excuse to go outside, and he came in with our Aunt, they were pretty speechless. It was really fun, we stayed and hung out for awhile and made weekend plans.

So Friday night, we went to this place called The Melting Pot, you may have heard of it (maybe not who knows) it's a place where they serve fondue, cheese/chocolate. We ate all kinds of things in different cheeses and chocolates which was a fun experience.

The Melting Pot

Then the fun continues on Saturday evening. We go to the fanciest restaurant I've ever been to called Ferre (pictured below). It's Italian based dining, so that was pretty good (Because I love Italian food!). While we were there everyone was getting dessert and I wanted to get some coffee. So when I ordered something that was on the menu, the waitress asked if I had some ID, (I did but not the right kind)it obviously had alcohol in it. So go on say it, "you wanted to get an adult beverage?" well I wasn't intending too but... Just kidding :)

Ferre Restaurant.

Then for labor day we hung out, played board games, talked, and ate some food, all good fun. I had a great weekend and so did my family. Thanks for reading, hope you people aren't too bored with what I have to say.

Password: Rhino

Hey all hope you guyses are having a good rest of the summer. I worked all through summer getting caught up. Anyway Me and some awesome friends of mine went to see a band called Philmont. These guys rock!
So I had the pleasure of talking to these guys on the phone (as stated in a previous post), and they actually remembered me! It was great we talked to them for hours and got pictures, all that good stuff. They even had Ice cream after the show which was totally unexpected! So that was probably one of the best nights of my life.

Here is proof I met these guys. :)

Once A Month

Hey all! Seems like I'm only posting "once a month" now, sorry but I get busy with school and what not, nothing really "crazy" happening lately.
Our band is starting to get lazy so to speak, we STILL haven't opened our blog, and we're still adding and subtracting bits and pieces of songs. We lack equipment and funds to record our songs and create the cd's. I'm saving up for a car/truck. Other friends saving for other things, so we aren't able to put a lot of money into things so far.
None the less I assure you after the whole "getting a vehicle" is over I'll invest in some more equipment and hopefully have some of our music up for those who care to listen.
So I'm a car guy, and I have been dying to do some sort of mod, so I modded my dad's car. Ha ha! it's funny because it's not my car but still. Here are before and after pics.

Before: Side View

After: Side View

Before: Front View

After: Front View

So it looks great, sounds pretty nice, and adds about 5 more horses to dad's car. :)
I'm waiting to get my truck within the next week or so I HOPE, but we'll see.

So that's about it for me, I hope you all have a great weekend, and thanks for reading.

Happy Fourth!

hope it was a good one for you guyses. I had LOADS of fun. We saw the parade in the morning, we saw some friends of ours in that parade. Then last night we had a HUGE like everyone was there! We mainly just hung out until people arrived. Me and my friend where setting up stuff and testing his go cart. Then once some people arrived we had food! Lot's and lots of it! Then we sang some hymns and prayed before going about our evening.
We played a bit of catch with our football, then it really started... Volleyball! Yes it seems to be the church sport currently. That was great it was boys vs. girls, then teens vs. adults (we had won in the past but not this time unfortunately). Then the neighbors to the right of us started shooting fireworks before it was even dark. So me and my friend got our potato cannons out and started firing... at them! (Just kidding) though we were tempted. :) We attached glow-sticks to the potato's so we could see them through the sky.
After we were out of "Ammo" we tried to ride the go-cart but the throttle wire had broken off so that never happened. Then we all went home to our late night/party neighbors to try and sleep.
There you have it my fourth/4th of July weekend. I don't have any pictures but I'm sure there will be plenty other posts about that awesome night!

Thanks for reading.

Summer killed may flowers!

Well it's finally here summer, hot Texas weather... horrible I'm a winter person so this isn't totally amazing for me. I've been a procrastinator recently so I'm relly behind in some area's.
So I needed to tell you all I got my long awaited driver's license! Yay! So I was a bit mad at first cause I thought we had to make an appointment before we went, and that wouldn't work that day. I later found out I didn't need too thank the Lord! So we got all the paper work, eye test, etc. Then we took the test I was nervous at first but once we got going I got over it.
So once we returned there was an ambulance which is bad news if I'm trying to get my license. :) Some lady apparently fell and broke her hip or something and they had to take her to the ER crazy stuff that day.
That night we went to this concert thing and had our first Friday evangelism which was good a lot of people got to hear the gospel. We ate at Fuzzy's taco shop/emporium/place. Which is really good actually (recommend the craw fish tacos).
and I drove Emily and myself home. :)
Our cousin just graduated like Tuesday night. We drove to TCU to see him actually graduate. We saw several people we knew there and talked a little to our friends. Me and my uncle yelled REALLY loud for him and for the last kid (because he was the last out of like 600 kids!). Then we ate at Mcd's for late night supper.

It was a fairly good week I must say. Now it's time to get back to trying to write lyrics and music for the band. See you later.

Memorial Day!

Hope you had a good one. We did, I'll get back to that.
Well last week I believe it was, a lot of my friend's went out of town (some out of state). So It's been kinda boring. Well I did get to have my friend over for the weekend and we came up with a new song just jamming out. I also got this!

A bit pricey but I can plug 2 mics into it as well as some electric guitars if I wanted. So that was fun, guitar center always is.
We also went over to our friend's The Runkles' house Saturday night to hang out. We watched chicken little (old school right?) and played around with their dog. Then Sunday we went to go eat with some more friends, and then Monday (A.K.A. Memorial Day) we helped our friend's the Finley's build a fence. So that pretty much sums my week/weeks. Oh and I'm nearly finished with my potato gun I've been working on. Pray for me this up coming weekend, I'm supposed to go to the DPS and try out for my license (Bo-Ya!). Thanks for reading hope all you traveling peeps have a good time.
