Update on Pete

CAUTION THESE ARE VERY GRAPHIC PICTURES!

They finally got a look at him...

He is in a very bad condition.

It's hard to tell but his condition is supposedly getting better. But it's very hard to tell with these pictures.

here are some of the crash scene.

Looks like they had to cut the roof off to get to him.

This is the helicopter that had to take him to the hospital.

These are from Facebook, and were not taken by me.

Please be in prayer. God listens to his people, and Peter could use all the prayers he can get.
Let the lord's will be done...

Prayers needed.

I have some terrible news. This moring my good friend Peter Helms (our pastor's son)was on his way to help a lady from our church, and he was T-boned at an intersection and had to be careflited to the ICU. He has internal bleeding in his brain, he's on a ventilator to help him breathe because he has weak breathing. And he is unconscious at the moment.
The worst part is because he JUST finished his eagle scout project, his birthday is comming up, and he was getting prepared to go to college.
I'm quite depressed about this. Please be in prayer, and I hope God can use this for HIS glory.
Just a short update.

Rainy day for a drive.

Hello fellow bloggers and non-bloggers. It was a very rainy day it's raining as I type this, but anywho.

We went to the Texas DPS this morning and took my permit test. There were some weird people in line but I won't get into that. Well... I PASSED!

I was totally psyched! I went to my grandmothers to take care of the horse with my mom, and she usually let's me drive in the pasture to feed the horse.
I like it because I can floor it down the stretch (even though I haven't, yet..)

So after anxiously waiting ALL day. My dad got home and we got in his car and went to the school parking lot behind our house. Once we got there we switched off and I started driving around. He said I was pretty good for a begginer, I didn't hit anything (or anyone) thankfully. I did floor it to 40 a couple times (blazing fast right?)
but then it started to rain. It was probablly one of the worse case scenarios to be driving in for the first time. It was at night and raining. I did pretty okay and had to slow down in the rain, but it was a great experience.

Hope those of you who aren't driving aren't mad, the permit test was easier than I thought, so don't worry.
See ya

Eagle Scout Project part 2, dog news, and Driver's Ed.

Yesterday (I seem to always post the day after) we pretty much finished my friend Peter's eagle scout project. We put up the fence and put on the gates.
I'll help make some more "adjustments" Wednesday. We totally got rained on with freezing cold ice bullets everyone was soked, but we got it finished.
Afterward's Pete took us out to supper at Nicky D's. Great place, they have really good burgers there. It was a good project and it really improved our church.

Yes I FINALLY started Drivers Ed last Wednesday. I finished my level 1 test and might get my permit early sometime Monday I hope.

So Dog news... My most favorite dog in the world is in our house now! We have Bo walking (and laying) around our house. Tt's mainly because he started to get some "Hot spots" on him. He seems to enjoy being indoors, and isn't killing our cats... so far.

So there's my update, later.

"Mr. Helms went to get the mulch"

Well my friend Peter had his eagle scout project yesterday, and I went at about 8:45 in the morning to help.
They had some donuts for us, then we waited for more guys to show up, then the work began.

We split into 2 teams and worked on the fence posts for a chain link fence, and dug trenches for timbers to put a square "play area" around the playground.
At lunch Mrs. Helms and another mom made hot dogs and such for lunch.
Afterwards Andy and Mr. Helms had to go buy a drill with more power to make holes in the wood for the rebar.

Caleb Simmons was the photographer, and got some cool pictures I'm sure.
You can probablly find them on Facebook if that's your thing...
Caleb and Andy had the idea of making T-Shirts saying "Mr. Helms is getting the mulch, Peter's Eagle Scout Project 2010" That's the joke on my title, it's because everyone kept asking were Mr. Helms was.
It was a very hot, tiring, and I got sunburnt. But I was glad to help.

So that's how that day was spent, thanks for reading.

Your in a band?! What?!

Yes I'm in a band, It's made up of me and my friend's David and Joel. I wanted to be in a band so I called Dave and asked if he would want too be in it (he said sure), Then a while later I called up Joel and asked him to be the leader (sine he's the best out of us all). So anyway, we've been a band for awhile but we didn't have a name. Till now. So far we're going with "The Sound of an Escape", and we've been working on the first album, and the art for it. this is the song...
This video is just me and Joel. David's working on something for the drums.

So there it is soo far, we might change it later, but tell me what you think. Thank you blogger community and friends for reading.

Rest is over

I've had some time to rest from being back from my trip which sounds really oxymoron, but It's true.
Well I'm doing some reports I need to finish for school, this comming friday I should get my DPS stuff so I can take the test for my permit. I've been ready for this for ever but it might finally happen.
My Dad is getting me psyched for being a "Ham". I'll be practicing for that sometime this week I think. And my dad has a radio I might use 'cause he's getting a new one.
So that's what's up with me.
I'm hopefully going to get up that song tonight or tomorrow, for those of you who care.
See ya.

Movies!

Okay something I left out. We went to the moveis TWICE while we were there.
First time we saw Robin Hood.

Awsome movie I thought it was pretty accurate and had awsome action scenes and a great storyline.

The second movie was The A-Team.

The most action packed movie I've ever seen in theaters.
Crazy action, it was wicked awsome!! It was accurate with the original tv show except with some more modern twists. I didn't like the cussing in it, or the fight scene cameras, they moved too much so it was hard too see what was going on.
But all in all a sweet movie!

So an extra on what I did, see ya.

"Home Sweet Home"

Well it's certianly great to be back after the 2 week trip alot has happened in 2 weeks.
I got back yesterday and I'll tell you about my trip(and try not to bore y'all to death).
Okay so I had to go to my friends house Friday, and we left for Arkansas.
I told y'all it was Missouri but it was Oklahoma and Devil's Den Arkansas.

BUT anywho, we got there and had to unload it was'nt the best experience.
It was my first time to ever camp in a camper. I enjoyed the coolness at night, and soft bed vs. hard ground.
Well one day we walked up this long steep hill with our bikes. When we got to the top we saw the lookout point

We constantly rode bikes and swam ($4.00 + tax) who taxes to swim, anyway one of the days we went to the dam.

While crossing it we saw some people racing in canoes.

Well the caves where closed becasue of bat disease it was supposedly deadly, but we got to go into the entrance of the "Ice Box".

Nothing ACTUALLY kept us from going but I didn't feel like dying that day.
One of the days we went to little swiss town I think it was called in Eureka Springs.
It was awsome!! I wanted to go back I didn't have anything for pictures at the time but I want to go back some day.
While we were there we saw "The New Great Passion Play" It was cool we met one of the actors and was from Glen Rose Texas!
The day before the last day (I think) we went to Winslow a small town where my friends Grandad grew up.

This was a lookout when we were there.
Oh and one day we made a sky tent.

We were bored.

It was really fun but I'm glad to be home.
Thanks for reading
